Terms of use.

The ground rules for using Ryuc. A signed agreement with your company takes priority over these terms where the two differ. Last updated 27 October 2026.

Using Ryuc.

By using this website or the Ryuc app you agree to these terms. If you use Ryuc for a company, you confirm you're allowed to accept them on its behalf.

Accounts.

Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us if you think someone else has used them. You're responsible for what happens in your workspace and for the people you give access to.

Your data.

Job descriptions, CVs, candidate records, interviews and reports in your workspace belong to you. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. You're responsible for having a lawful basis to share candidates' data with us and for telling candidates how it's used; Ryuc's consent screen helps with the interview itself.

AI suggestions, human decisions.

Ryuc's scores, summaries, recommendations and answer-authenticity notes are suggestions that can be wrong. Hiring decisions are yours: a person on your team should review them, and Ryuc won't reject or move a candidate on its own. You're responsible for using Ryuc in line with employment and anti-discrimination law where you hire.

Acceptable use.

  • Don't use Ryuc to break the law or to discriminate unlawfully.
  • Don't interview people without telling them the interviewer is AI or without their consent.
  • Don't try to break, overload or get around the security of the service, or access other workspaces.
  • Don't resell the service or copy it to build a competing product.

We may suspend access that breaks these rules, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

Fees.

Prices, billing and any founding-partner terms are set out in your order or agreement with us.

Changes to the service.

We improve Ryuc all the time and may change or retire features. Some features shown on this website are on our roadmap rather than available today; your agreement lists what's included for you. We'll give reasonable notice of changes that materially affect paying customers.

Our content.

The Ryuc name, software, website and their content belong to us. These terms don't give you any rights to them beyond using the service.

Liability.

We provide the service with care, but as far as the law allows it's provided "as is", without promises that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Ending.

You can stop using Ryuc at any time. On request we'll delete your workspace data, or help you export it first.

Changes to these terms.

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and tell customers about significant changes before they take effect.
